Born in Havana and now based in the Dominican Republic, Danays León has built a remarkable career across nearly every corner of the premium cigar world. After co-founding an internationally distributed premium cigar brand, Danays now leads Premium Cigars Development Consultancy while developing SEMPITERNUS, a long-term platform dedicated to luxury, design, heritage, and meaningful sensory experiences.
How Cigars Found Her
Danays' story began long before she ever lit a cigar. Childhood summers in Santa Cruz del Norte, Cuba, were filled with the aroma of Havana Club and the cigars her father enjoyed. Years later in Toronto, the scent of a Cuban cigar instantly transported her back to those moments, revealing the extraordinary power of aroma to preserve memories. That realization eventually led her into the premium cigar industry.
