A Passion That Became Our Purpose.
Founded in 2005, Cigar Ambassador was built on a simple but enduring belief — that the finest cigars deserve to be understood, not just enjoyed. We began by forming lasting relationships with master growers in the Dominican Republic, Honduras, and Nicaragua, learning firsthand how terroir, tradition, and patience shape every leaf.
Over two decades, those relationships grew into something larger: a bridge between East and West, connecting Shanghai, Macau, and Yunnan with the heritage tobacco regions of the Americas. Today, Cigar Ambassador is more than a company — it is a living celebration of the craftspeople, the soils, and the stories that define premium cigars.

The Founder
Lily Wang
Founder & Chairwoman
Back in 2005, on the verge of a major promotion, Lily Wang made a bold decision—she walked away from a high-powered executive role in the financial sector to follow her true passion: cigars. That same year, she founded Cigar Ambassador, a brand that would go on to redefine the cigar experience across Asia and beyond.
Over the next two decades, Lily dedicated herself wholeheartedly to the cigar industry, becoming not just a pioneer but a true ambassador of cigar culture. Her influence extended far beyond retail and cigar lounges—she immersed herself in every aspect of the craft, from curating luxury experiences to the meticulous art of tobacco cultivation. In 2005, she also founded the Cigar Ambassador magazine, a publication dedicated to promoting cigar culture. Today, after 106 issues, it remains a cornerstone of the cigar industry in Asia and beyond.
Respected and admired in the Dominican Republic, Lily built deep relationships with master blenders, tobacco growers, and industry legends. She became an authority in selecting and processing premium tobacco leaves, ensuring that every cigar bearing her mark met the highest standards of quality and craftsmanship.
Today, Lily Wang’s legacy continues to shape the world of cigars, inspiring a new generation of aficionados. More importantly, her son, Ausman Wang, has now joined the company, carrying the torch forward and expanding into the international market. With his vision and dedication, Cigar Ambassador is on the path to becoming a century-old legacy brand. Passion, dedication, and vision light the way to extraordinary success.
The Next Generation
Ausman Soriano Wang
Managing Director
Ausman Soriano Wang is the son of Cigar Ambassador founder Lily Wang. Born in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, he returned to Shanghai with his family at a young age before moving to the United States at the age of fourteen.
He earned his bachelor's degree in Political Science from New York University and his master's degree in Nonprofit Management from Columbia University. After graduation, he briefly worked in consulting before joining the family business, bringing with him an international perspective shaped by living and studying across three countries.
Today, Ausman leads Cigar Ambassador's operations in the United States, where he oversees brand development, retail partnerships, business strategy, and market expansion. Working closely with the company's factories, tobacco estates, and global partners, he is focused on introducing Cigar Ambassador and Tobacco Queen to a new generation of premium cigar enthusiasts while strengthening the company's presence in North America.
Believing that premium cigars represent far more than a luxury product, Ausman is passionate about preserving the culture, craftsmanship, and traditions behind handmade cigars. Through Cigar Ambassador's growing network of factories, tobacco fields, cigar lounges, and educational initiatives, he is committed to sharing the stories behind every cigar—from seed to smoke—with enthusiasts around the world.
